Sen. Hillary Clinton said Monday that Barack Obama has just about wrapped up a victory in the presidential campaign. Asked on NBC’s “Today Show” what Obama has to do to close the deal, Clinton said, “I think he's closing it.” Clinton credited Obama’s response to the financial crisis for solidifying the choice for undecided voters.
“I think the way he's conducted himself the last few weeks during this economic crisis has gotten a lot of people in his camp who might not have been there otherwise. I hear it all the time. People say, ‘Well, I don't have any choice now,’ or, ‘You know, I'm convinced.’ And he just has to keep doing that.”
